We wish to bring to your attention, changes being implemented from May 1st, 2020, regarding Safe-T-Cert ROI and its clients.
This only effects those companies operating in the United Kingdom
Following a review by the SSIP in December 2019, to the agreement between Safe-T-Cert ROI and SSIP, the following will apply;
- In order to achieve SSIP recognition, an audit must be carried out against the requirements of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales) & Northern Ireland – i.e. reviewing the associated documentation for the jurisdiction(s) where CDM regulations are applicable.
- To be successful in this audit and listed on the SSIP portal, companies must be able to demonstrate clear compliance with the “Core Criteria” – see appendix SSIP Core Criteria
- Due to administrative changes required, an extra fee of €250 plus VAT will be chargeable for SSIP certification additional to the standard Safe-T-Cert fees.
- No changes will apply to Safe-T-Cert clients who do not require SSIP recognition – i.e. do not operate in United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales) & Northern Ireland.
- Should you wish to exclude SSIP initially, and then upgrade prior to subsequent audit, this can be completed by conducting a desktop review, and an extra fee of €350 plus VAT will be chargeable.
